On-site Training

Bring the Summer Institute to your district.

We customize one, two or three day programs to your needs.

We also have developed a year-long series of one-day institutes that support school climate reform.

We will bring resources and specialized professional development staff to you. We create professional development that supports school climate improvement as well as social, emotional, civic and ethical learning efforts to your school or district:

We support networks of regular and special education schools working and learning together.

The year -long workshop series given by NSCC have been extremely helpful to our entire school. We are in the process of transforming the culture of our building and exposing an entire community to safe and civil school improvement works.

As a Youth Development Manager in the NYC DOE, I have had the opportunity to attend many institutes and conferences but NSCC's Institute ranks as the best one that I have attended. It was an educationally wonderful, falling event that helped our team think concretely and productively about a range of instructional and systemic school improvement issues. I drove in every day with colleagues and we would discuss topics that came up the day before. In the afternoon, after we left, we would discuss topics that came up during that day's session. The last day of the Institute, it was very emotional as we shared things that we had learned and then said goodbye to people that we had never met but we had now connected so closely with. I plan to return next summer and I will be sure to invite more colleagues.

The Safe, Supportive and Civil Schools network was extremely helpful to our school. I was able to use the information provided to our staff and share the information, which was very well received. As a curriculum coach, I was able to implement bully prevention and upstander skills that assisted staff at our school.
